Wind Rules:  Ammended 08/31/08

Light Wind:

At 10:00am delay the start for 15 minutes and reevaluate every 15 minutes until 11:00am at which time the length of the race will be shortened to 2-1/2, if we cannot start at 11:00 race is canceled

Once a race is started, the lead boat must reach the weather mark within 30mins of start time or the race is canceled

If the first lap is not completed within one hour, the race is canceled?

If a race is canceled it will be made up the following Sunday as the first of 2 races, if we cannot sail that race due to no wind again the make-up race is again rescheduled making sure that due to the handicap system we race all races in scheduled sequence.

Heavy Wind:

If at any time during the time the Race Committee is setting the course and preparing for the race a wind gust reading of 20 mph is recorded on the wind meter, the race is cancelled.

For sailors already on the course, that wish to proceed with a race they may do so but no results will be included in any formal results. The RC may stay and watch the race or leave at its discretion.
